Chioma Omeruah aka Chigul, a well-known actress and comedian, has admitted that she married as a virgin at the age of 33.


Some weeks after her husband announced their separation, she revealed this when responding to a post about women's marriage and children written by Basketmouth's ex-wife.


We weren't perfect, but there were good days, she said. We simply reached a point when neither of us cared any longer. I've been led to believe that it was my responsibility to keep that afloat, and I take responsibility for the fact that it sank.


Would I have made any changes to it? No, since it occurred for a purpose. I'm glad it occurred at the one-year mark without any children or attachments. At the age of 33, I wed a virgin. That was the first thing I had ever done, and it was meant to be memorable.
